Most Americans are a product of SAD, or the Standard American Diet - overfed and undernourished. We live on a diet of over-processed food, junk food, prescription drugs and alcohol. To make matters worse, most people, especially those living in industrialized societies, suffer from lack of exercise, lack of sleep and high levels of stress in an envrionment that is more toxic than ever. The strains of this modern living can quickly deplete the body of what little nutrition it has in order to function.
A lack of nutrition in the blood is a primary cause of low energy levels, a weak immune system, and vulnerability to disease. When you do get sick, your ability to recover is greatly reduced when nutritionally depleted. Every cell, organ and every metabolic chemicals in your body can be supported and enhanced with good nutrition. A rich supply of nutrition in the blood will give you energy, vitality and strength, protecting you from disease and illness and provides support in healing quickly when attacked by illness or disease. Even when perfectly healthy, the process of digesting and assimilating vitamins and minerals is difficult. When your sick, you don't stand a chance. This is why consuming an all-natural, organic based nutritional supplement based on numerous single-celled micro plants is vital to any attempt at improving one's health or healing from disease. These single-celled plants are easy to absorb and assimilate by the body and provide a balanced and natural source of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and essential trace nutrients. It's no wonder they are called Superfoods! Before, during, and after your cleansing process, getting the extra nutritional support from these superfoods can be the missing link to your superfoods health plan. Many people are unaware of some of the shocking facts about many of the commercial vitamin and mineral supplements on the market today. Many contain chemicals that are indigestable and toxic. For instance, for many years and currently, many companies use vitamin B-12 that is derived from cyanocobalamin, a chemical synthesized from a substance known as miloganite. What exactly IS miloganite? Most vitamin B-12 is derived from miloganite, a substance manufactured for the vitamin supplement industry by the Sewer Commission of Milwaukee from activated sewage sludge! If you do a search on the internet, you won't find much on miloganite as it relates to cyanocobalamin. When you do a search on what cyanocobalamin is made from, you'll find that it's listed as a synthetic form of vitamin B-12 with no mention of what this synthetic source actually is derived from. In fact, the only information you'll likely find on miloganite is that it is usually associated in the garden industry as an organic fertilizer for lawncare! When I first read about this little known fact, I quickly ran to look at the ingredients in my daughter's children's multi-vitamin supplement and was apalled to see that the vitamin B-12 was listed as coming from cyanocobalamin Needless to say I wanted to find an alternative natural source of vitamin B-12 than something derived from toxic sewage sludge!

Unfortunately, the use of chemical toxins in vitamin supplements doesn't stop there. Oyster shell calcium is 99% inassimilable and vitamin E is provided by the manufacturers of vegetable oils using techniques that refine, bleach and deodorize the oil until it is stripped of any natural quality it once had. Again, an inassimilable source of minerals for the human body.
Plants, however, use organic chemical processes to absorb minerals from the soil or from the sea, and transform them into a usable, absorbable form. We can then dry and powder these land and sea vegetables, ingest them to provide us with all the natural, organic, and absorbable vitamins, minerals, enzymes and amino acids our body needs for optimal functioning.

This yeast is not the same as used in the brewing of beer and wine or to make bread. It is completely inactive and is therefore safe for those with Candida Albicans. Comprised of nearly 50% protein, this yeast is the second highest source of protein found in nature. This makes it 200% to 300% higher in protein than USDA Grade-A Beef. Nature has blessed us with certain foods and herbs that they are Superfoods. Getting that extra boost from Superfood is the missing link that many have been searching for in their health program.
To make a batch of superfood, I like to layer the ingredients interspersed with the nutritional yeast. This is because the yeast makes up from 50% to 60% of the volume of each batch of superfood and adding it all at once would make it difficult to mix properly. I usually pour in two of the 4 oz. packages first and then follow by pouring in 8 oz. of the nutritional yeast. Then two more 4 oz. packages of herb powders followed by 8 oz. more of the yeast and so on. Repeat this pattern until you've used all the herb powders. You can try and mix with a wooden spoon as you add the herb powders and yeast. What I find works best is, after each layer of herb powder and yeast is added, I close the lid and simply rotate the jar end on end until it is mixed well. Then open up the lid and pour more herb powders and yeast in, close the lid, rotate and mix again, until all the powders are added and mixed.
