Types of Anemia
There are several types of anemic conditions. There are even rare types that result in the early destruction of red blood cells such as in hemolytic anemia, or genetic structural abmormalties such as sickle cell anemia, or a condition where the body is unable to use hemoglobin, a condition known as sideroblastic anemia. The most common types of anemia, however, are caused by nutritional deficiencies. These include vitamin b12 anemia and pernicious anemia.
